Decel is a free mobile application designed to help users manage panic attacks and anxiety through:

  • Guided breathing exercises
  • 5-4-3-2-1 grounding techniques
  • AI voice companion for emotional support
  • Progress tracking and insights
  • Educational content about mental health

3. Free Service

Decel is provided to you free of charge. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice, without liability to you.

Important: Decel is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please contact emergency services immediately.

The content, features, and AI responses provided by Decel are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

Not a Crisis Service

Decel is not designed to handle emergencies, suicidal thoughts, or immediate crisis situations. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency services or crisis hotlines in your country:

5. User Responsibilities

By using Decel, you agree to:

  • Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or exploit the app
  • Not use the app to harass, harm, or exploit others
  • Not upload or transmit malicious code or harmful content
  • Comply with all applicable local laws and regulations

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Decel, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and design, are owned by Decel and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Privacy

Your use of Decel is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the app, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy. Please review it carefully.

8. AI Voice Companion

Decel includes an AI voice companion designed to provide emotional support and guidance. You acknowledge that:

  • AI responses are generated based on algorithms and may not always be accurate or appropriate
  • The AI is not a substitute for human connection or professional therapy
  • Your interactions with the AI may be processed and stored according to our Privacy Policy
  • You should not rely solely on AI responses for critical mental health decisions

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Decel shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Mental health outcomes or decisions made based on app content
  • Technical issues, bugs, or service interruptions
  • Third-party content or services linked through the app

In no event shall Decel's total liability to you exceed the amount you paid (which is zero, as Decel is free).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Decel, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these Terms.

11. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Decel shall be resolved in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Arbitration

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Decel after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Decel at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the app will immediately cease.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable from the Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Decel regarding your use of the app and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications.
